The Savage's tire baloon out a little but not enough to make it unstable at high speed's,....thing shoots off like a rocket when hitting 2nd gear!! The only thing I have broken so far has been a shock body when I nailed a rock at aleast 30mph, everything else checked out great so there was 3 bucks for the fix. Im trying for a purple theme, looking at some trick aluminum parts but don't know if it would be a good investment just to look cool. This thing can climb about anything and has an awesome amount of flex, i think they said 6"-8" of suspension travel without a tire coming off the ground. Gotta find a T-Maxx to race
Traxxas.com has a forum to talk about them. They even had a guy on there who has a T-Maxx with dual 2.5s and two superchargers......yes....superchargers!
Mine flies, but I've already smashed it up once. I hit a tree stump in my yard and broke the steering components. Fixed it and now my alignment is off and it handles like crap on the street. Still need to fix that, but its a great little toy. I saw a few of them at the monster truck show during intermission. They were launching them off the ramps about 20 feet in the air it was awesome.
And here I've been thinking that it would do me no good to attempt to explain my screen-name here! Didn't think this many people on here were too into R/C's. I own a Traxxis Hawk 2 (outta date now), my stepdad owns a Team Losi (spell??) as well as a Nitro Traxxis (Rambler maybe). Any of you guys build your own?

Ive wrecked mine several times. I ripped the left front suspension completely off one time. Ive hit things head on with both of my trucks, and ive t-boned my dad (he has the original t-maxx.)
Oh well, they say "if you aint wreckin, you aint tryin" Something like that, anyways
Traxxis, does it count as "building my own" if i get a ready-to-run and take it completely apart? I do that with all my RC stuff.

lol, now that's an odd habit, why do you take them apart when you get them? However, I suppose it certainly does count. What I actually meant was buying the kit and assembling (spell?) it.
