I put a TBS on the same day that I added a new intake, it felt like a whole new truck. The engine responds better, better gas mileage, more torqe, and in addition to my dual exhaust, its louder. So in my opinion, it isn't a waste.
It's kinda funny that the only people who have any claims of the spacers working did them at the same time as other upgrades, and think that the spacers work! Try taking the spacer back off, leave on all of the other upgrades and get back to us on the spacer being part of the HP increase....
I think its kind of funny that TBSs have been around since fuel injection became more popularly used and they still are obviously used. Now if they were found to not have any performance increases, they would have left the market long ago
It has nothing to do with performance increases, as long as people keep buying them, they will obliviously keep making them.
There are many, many products that have been on the market for a very long time that rely on marketing hype, not on quality or performance as advertised.
You can't say they don't work when you haven't done any testing or researched to prove otherwise. Based on the research I have done and by other people's claims, this product works.
I used one on a truck in the past and took it off, it did nothing, and was easy to tell it did nothing when installed by itself and not at the same time as other upgrades. There was also the whistling, this never equates to a power gain when you are getting that kind of turbulance in your intake. Part throttle felt flat at the rpm level that the whistling occured...these things are nothing but crap, probaly less HP with one on I would say.
Many here would be happy to look at your before and after dyno results, the companys dyno results? Oh, nothing? humm, wonder why?
PS-give you a great deal on the one I have here if you like them so much!
