Hello,
Early 99 F250 Super Duty 7.3 Powerstroke.
Transmission is shifting too early since I put 285 75R16s on. Second to Third and to overdrive bogs me down quite a bit. Is it possible that one of these programmers that I have seen advertised could change my shift points reliably and not screw something else up? Tuners, chips and programmers make me a little leary. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
XLRS
yes they could help you out but if you do that sometimes converters go nexts other than that they are perfectly fine. If you have converter or tranny problems look at www.suncoastconverters.com
Transgo is the company that is making the shift kit "stuff" for suncoast.
Awsome company.
Know of guys running mid 12 second quarter mile times in diesel trucks with just a suncoast shift kit (transgo) and converter and the tranny is fine.....they are amazing with 4r100.
