How far can a dog run into the woods?

You are in motorless row boat, in the middle of the ocean. You have no means of fire, but you have 3 cigarettes. How do you light them?

A dog can only run half way into the woods. Beyond that point he would be running OUT of the woods.

You are in a room with a locked door. There are no other ways out but through the locked door. It is impossible to force the door open. In the center of the room there is a glass of water, a pipe, and some pliers. Also, there is a small hole in the room. It is directly in the center of the room in the floor and it contains a key to the door. The hole is too small to fit your hand into or any of the items listed. How do you get out?

You are traveling in the mountains in Old chevy truck (,during the winter ,headed for a camping spot when you lose control of the truck slides off the road into the ditch.
The road is not travelled on ,lot so thinking because it is getting dark soon,you are getting hungry & the temperature is starting to drop. You decide to put all the camping gear out of the back of the truck. You pitch the tent,roll the arctic sleeping out.You pull the box of equipment out of the box and start laying things out.
You have a Catylitic Heater, Coleman Lantern,& a Gas Stove.You rumage through all the stuff looking for that BBQ lighter you thought you brought with you.Looking everywhere to end up looking in the glove compartment & find a Matchbook of matches with only One match left in it.
So,now you are in a real dilemma:
You are on a not well travelled road,truck in the ditch so you cannot drive anywhere,the cold wind is getting worse, you're getting Cold,you're Hungry & it's getting Dark.You have a stove, a light & a Heater.
Which one of these would you light first?

The match,then the truck for getting me stuck out here in the middle of nowhere,which after the tank blows,would create such a large signal fire that somebody would notice and send a Ford 4x4 to rescue me!
