Rusted/Stuck Spark Plug
I just recently bought a 94' B2300 with a 2.3L engine. I got the truck for a song and dance($1250). It has 133,000 miles when I drove it ran terrible, I changed the plugs after I bought it and now it runs awesome, except I couldn't get the third drivers side plug out. I used a spark plus socket with a universal and a 12" wobble extension and under the manifold. The problem was that there was so much rust the socket wouldn't even grab. The rest of the plugs were obviously very old, but I think this plug is probaly original. Anyways does anyone have any ideas for the worst case scenario. I know I'll have to remove the manifold, after I let plenty I WD-40 set down there for days! What if I can't some how seperate the old rust to get a socket on the plug. Sorry if I seem lazy I working a lot of overtime right now and I'm formulate my strategy for a sunny saturday soon.
