Oil Sending Unit

I have a 97 Ford F150 (5.8L) that overheated when a freeze plug blew. Fixed that but now have a fluctuation in oil pressure. Checked the oil pump manually using a drill and it is fine. It is possible that the oil sending unit (sensor) got messed up when it overheated so I thought I would try that since they are so cheap. Unfortunately, none of the manuals have the location. Help!

How did a 97 get a 5.8L 351? I thought that they all had Modular engines 4.6/5.4's??
