223 to 262

Have any of you guru's stroked the 223 to 262 or know somebody who has? Just looking for the pro's and con's. I wanna' keep a 6 in my ride, but would like to be able to hop it up without it taking an act of congress. Thanks as always for the help

Now, I am no guru at all, but I do not think that the 262 is just a stroked 223. But I may be wrong. There was a thread a while back. Apparently something different with the mounts, tranny support etc. Better do some searches, as I am inceasingly feeble minded.

223 to 262

Check the Clifford website and search around until you find the data sheet for the 223. Some of the information you are looking for is there. If I remember correctly, both the bore and stroke are different but if you put a 262 crank in a 223 you come up with something in the 240 c.i. range. Good luck!
