New truck is in, see gallery for pics. It is a 2004 6.0L PSD FX4 Lariat 6-speed with sunroof, camper package and most the other goodies. I purchased the AIC with order, but have not installed yet, probably will get it done in May. Color is medium wedgewood blue over arizona biege. I had to order this truck as dealers don't stock manuals and I have not seen this color combination in town yet. Took 4 weeks and 2 days. Only have 120 miles on it, but I absolutely love everything about this truck. The power is amazing and it is a blast to go through the gears. My only complaint is I haven't been able to drive it as much as I want to, guess this weekend I will put some miles on it. Wife will have to pry me out of the seat if she wants any attention...Deac
Upon edit=Complaint #2-The guys at work keep get drooling on it. I had just about everyone stop by yesterday and want to go take a look at it.
Congratulations on your truck, keep smiling and keep on driving…………may I take this moment to suggest keep coming back to FTE and this great bunch of guys here in the 6.0L forum.
I was actually set on ordering a V-10 gasser. But about 6 months ago I started reading and asking questions here and decided to drive the diesel. Very grateful for everyone's help. Ultimately it was my decision, but the members here helped educate me. You just can't trust a dealer honestly answering your question, but you can trust other owners and take their views into account. So thanks to everyone.
Nice truck, I like the color combo. My truck is due in this week.....can't wait. I too ordered because there are no 6speed 6.0 on any lots in CA. Its kinda nice to get exactly what you want and nothing more or nothing less. Although, I'm pretty upset I could not order 4:10 LS...stuck with 3:73's from factory. I 'll have to spend about $1600 more to make it the way they should have. Anyway, congrats on the new truck!

Could you do me a favor, the next time you drive your truck for lets say
50-75 miles in the warm weather, when you come to a stop light put the truck in nuetral and put your left foot on the brake pedal and rev the engine to about 2000 rpm and let off quickly and see what happens. I have an 04/04 6 speed 4x4 that when I do the above the engine will rev to redline on its own. So if I am downshifting and slowing down with the brakes at the same time the truck is out of control. It will only do this after it has been running for a while. I do not know of anybody that has a manual truck to do the test with. Any help would be great.

Thanks, Trevor
That has got to be scary, take it to the dealer.
As much as I hate to say that
ttaj, I haven't had time to drive 50-75 miles upon startup yet, but I will this weekend. I tried it this morning after a 20 mile drive and it did not rev up, after 2200 rpms, let off the accelerator and the rpms returned to idle. Almost sounds like a software issue, DON'T LET THEM FLASH. I will try again after a more lengthy trip. Deac
