anyone know where i can get softer coils for my 95 F-150. I need 6 inch lift coils...and i'm trying to find something softer then my skyjacker springs.
i dunno if this could work, but i was thinking about something like this for my scout. take an 8" broncoII spring. or maybe 10, i dont know. its just that they are a smaller diamater spring, so under a lot more weigt they may flew really really well for you. you would have to modify the pearches and such, but ya. maybe someone has tried it. i know that an F150 spring was recommended for a 4" xj lift spring. so maybe if you get like a 12" xj lift spring you might get like 4" for your 150 hahaha.
I can never tell when you're serious or not. However, since it sounds like something that I would have tried when I was a teenager I'll assume your serious. Than said, its a bad idea. Bad for the coil and bad for the spring rate.

lol nah i'm serious this time! i seriously considered it back when I had my 93 F-150 and didn't have the $$$ for a lift! it was just a thought. I am sure someone has tried it though!
lol, yea, as much fun as I think it would be to roll with Fishy I'm not entirely sure I'd want him either directly in front of me or directly behind me on the trail. I'm sure he'd think it would be funny to use my rear bumper as an rti ramp. Which would all be fine of course untill he ended up in my bed.
stretchin springs around trees eh?
keep yur eyes peeled for a backfire i guess
haha just imagine a spring shootin thru yer winder or of course yer tailgate as pro pointed out!
hey idio hows the scout situation workin out, sounds like a cool project
whats happenin with the f-150?
