Engine Sputtering
Hi all,
I have a '91 F150 with a 302 i just got to haul wood and stone and play in the woods, and i don't much about fuel injection.
It has about 160,000 miles and recently had the fuel pressure reg., fuel pump, and ecm changed.
It starts right up but it sputters when i accelerate. It especially does it in third gear. I am running 108 octane boost and it is pinging and i have valve taping when in too low of a gear going up hill.
I don't really know where to start, i thought it might need to have the fuel injectors cleaned, but the guy at Pep boys said that was not likely the fix since it didn't do it all the time.
Any Help would be great.
