Prepump Mod

Where can I find info on what the "Prepump mod" is and what it entails to install it/it's cost?

Prepump Mod

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-13-03 AT 10:03 AM (EST)]The prepump mod is just replacing the factory rubber fuel line between the steel line from the tank to the inlet of the pump. It is done to eliminate the factory fuel line clamp system because they sometimes leak air. The pump is under the driver's door inside the frame. The line is about 1 ft long. Be sure to use diesel rated line and use the standard worm-type hose clamps.
