We did ban many people on the spot. However, that required us to read all the posts made. By not even allowing such topics at all, we won't have to deal with that issue. I don't believe OTL or PP was ever good for FTE even without the violators it represented nothing more than a soapbox. FTE is about Ford trucks and suvs, not politics, religion, gun control, etc. --- such things dilute our purpose.
