How to remove antenna?

Remove the antenna mast using a wrench on the hexagonal section at the base. Pry off the shaped black plastic base with a flat bladed screwdriver. The mount is attached to the body with three self tapping screws. Tighten them.

Thanks so much. I'm having trouble prying off the black plastic base with a flat blade screwdriver. I've tried it several different ways and I seem to be destroying the base.
Any tricks you can share?
