Nice looking. Now when you get pulled over at night for speeding you can reach down and shine the light back at the officers face. LOL. Seriously it looks good.
I mounted the streamlight ultra stinger on the center hump near the heater duct. It does not look as sweet as yours does though.
I will say this, I have had a light mounted in every truck for years and I will never be without one again.
What I like about the ultrastinger is 75,000 candlepower of bright xenon white light, most like the maglight have 30,000.
I had one in my car and when I got my truck it was one of the first things I noticed not having anymore, I never thought about how often I used that light...
That looks like a very nice light you have, looks just as durable too
Where did you get the mounting clips for the Maglight?
Daimon1054 is that one of those flashlights with the LED bulbs. I bought one from our MAC tool salesman in the keychain format and it's great. They're a little pricey, I think I paid either $15 or $20 for the miniature version.
No it uses a Xenon gas discharge light, it was just under $100 with a car mount and an AC house mount. It uses the same bulb as the special forces tactical lights and will flat out blind you at night. Thing is is stays bright and very white (never yellow)right till the bat dies which is about 1 hour or so. http://www.streamlight-flashlights.com/
if you hunt you can get a little better price.
I put mine in the same place because the door panel made it impossible to put a fire extinguisher there. The only problem is you can't get the maglite out until you open the door which is also a good attitude adjuster.
