so cheap stainless will krinkle when you bend it? i've never bent stainless tubing but ive done a lot of regular exhaust pipes working at a muffler shop.
Stainless piping is a much different pipe to bend. It is a stronger pipe. Regular aluminized tubing is very malleable, and can easily be formed. Can I ask what vehicle this will be going on? There might be some kits already available for it. I know there are alot of exhaust shops that dont have access to SS tubing. You might want to make some calls in your area, and see if you can find one that does. JC Whitney sells some of the cheapest garbage I have ever seen. I would never buy any exhaust component from them.
well if you buy stainless from an exhaust shop they are gonna rip you off because they have to mark up the product to make money. i wanna know where they get their tubing and buy direct from them. the last time i looked at jc whitney they only sold 304 aircraft spec tubing- is this junk? i'll agree with you that they do sell cheap parts, but not everything in their catalog is junk. i bought some stainless clamps from them more than 7 years ago and they still look new.
