Exhaust Manifold problem

I'm in the process of restoring an 89 F-250 and I need to get off the exhaust manifolds to replace them, however they're rusted onto the pipes and won't budge. I thought about just taking a hack saw to it since I'm gonna replace the pipes anyways. Just thought I'd post and get a few opinions before I take some action.

If you are replacing the pipes, why not cut them? That should make it easier for you to work with. Also, before attempting to get those manifolds off, make sure to soak the manifold bolts(and anything else you can!!) a couple times a day, for a couple days in a row with a good penetrant like PB Blaster, Liquid Wrench, etc. Even after doing that, you will probably break a manifold bolt or two. You might want to become familiar with using an EZ-out if you arent already.

I just use the good ole tired and true WD-40 on most anything. I sprayed the manifolds a few times a day for 3 days before I took em off. No biggy, I just damaged the heat guards for the spark plugs, but that's no biggy either. Yeah, i'll just go ahead and cut the things off.
