does anyone know where i can find a corner post guage cluster? I would prefer them digital. If possible, i would like to have boost, pyrometer, tranny temp, and rear diff temp
I have the X-Monitor from BD Power. It only has Pyro, boost, and trans temp all in one. Very simple to install takes up very little room on the post. This way you could add a single gauge to read rear end temp. Take a look a bd-power.com
bd power @ 1-800-887-5030, www.bd-power.com, has a 3-in-one package on page 51 of PSR. Ford Specialists @ 770-949-7191, wwwfordspecialists.com offers several different makes and styles of gauges as well as different mounting pods.
I haven't dealt with either of these outfits but they advertise in PSR.
Ford Performance Specialists in Douglasville, Ga is a great source for parts, and service. I have known one of the owners, Doug Lewis for almost 10 years. These Guys know their PSD's, SHO's, and Fords! Doug will tell You "straight up", whats works, and what does not.
How well do the gauge readings show up in sunlight. I would imagine you can view them very clearly at night, but sunlight always tends to cause problems seeing things like that. Can you tie it into the dimmer switch for the rest of the interior lights?
