Thanks for the info. on the Hedmans 'Built. I'm going to be building a 460 with a C6 and dropping it into my '71 Highboy. Sounds like this just might be the ticket.

I have a set of hedmans for my 86, specific application is 83-87 F250/350 4wd with hydraulic clutch. Since the external slave setup is identical between a 4 speed and big block ZF, I'd assume that a header intended to fit a 4 speed truck would be equally happy on one with a ZF.

One other option is too buy a set of headers and get them coated.In can ceramic coated headers $800.00 plus taxes.Same headers $275.00 without coating. Coating the headers at shop $275.00 so do the math.Also coated at shop was in and outsides.
