floor pan coverage?

has anybody tried using an aerosol can undercoating to paint there floor pans? and if so how does it hold up? I want to do something with my pans but dont want a plastic cover or carpet. Ive painted a truck before with undercoating but it doesnt get much traffic. any thoughts?

Hey Voodoo, may want to go to the 'paint and body' forum. Believe it was within past 2 or 3 weeks. Member posted topic indicating he used undercoating on his floor pan and wanted to know what to use to remove it. Post described fairly unpleasant experience. Believe undercoating was used in the post, may try search.

I've been cruisin' the paint and bodywork forum and I remember that post too. The stuff he used never got hard and made a helluva mess.

If you want to get the same effect but get it to set up hard, consider the roll on bedliner. It should hold up great.

They also make that bedliners stuff is spray cans too! Spray it on and within 24 hours its as hard as a rock.
