dealer told me all 4x4 daullys coming off the line have 2 inch blocks in the rear now.
butt i want them to change them out.
All DRW's have come with 2" blocks in the rear since at least '99. The F-350's get the 4" block. If all you're going to do is switch-out the rear blocks, I would recommend going with either the 4" factory blocks or Donahoe Racing, since both of those come standard with the bumpstop arm, while most others don't.
Am sure you can find someone to trade with you. If you do use new u-bolts.
I have also heard to use new u-bolts when changing out blocks. Other than different u-bolt lengths for different block sizes, is there a reason to change these? Is there a mechanical reason like stretching or thread deformation?
Reason I ask is that I want to swap out the 4" F-350 blocks for 2" blocks to get the rear a little lower and understand the stock u-bolts have enough threads to still work with shorter blocks.

I'd still get new U bolts and nuts - your old ones would have had a bit of
stretch, and the nuts may see some thread deforamation. The long U bolts
may not have enough threads by the looks of it. Here's my before/after
pics (I took out the 4" block completely, with no 2" at all):
Needed all the drop for 5th wheel deck clearance.
I then added air bags to get some variable lift (see my gallery for additional pics).
I couldn't tell from your pics if your truck was level after removing the 4" blocks. Does it sit level? I tow a small TT (4K) so rear supsension squatting is only about an inch. Thanks for the pics BTW.
yes it sits pretty level without airbags inflated, although it "looks" low
in the back - so used to seeing that rear rake that when it's not there
it does look different. I use the airbags to get that rake back when not
pulling the 5th wheel :-) and add just a little bit (10 lbs) with the 5th
wheel on to help with the ride.
I think in my gallery, I have a side view composite pic of stock and
dropped for comparison.
