f-350 blocks and u bolts

thought i would post some useful info for a change....

i searched many times, and many ways for this info, it's not here in one post....

part numbers for 4" rear blocks
f18z-5598-ga and f18z-5598-fa for left and right.

u-bolts, not so easy...this one the parts guy gave major grief over the blocks and the u bolts...

the dimensions you need for the u bolts...

for a visteon/sterling rr axle is 108x320mm
for a dana 80 (drw) it is 118x320 -
not positive on the blocks for a drw application however, so double check.
anyhoo, hopefully this helps someone out, i spent a good hours arguing with a dealer over the fact i want to raise the rear of my truck 2".... lol

Hmm.... I happen to have some of these if anybody wants to buy them from me, thus saving yourself the hassle of chasing parts numbers.

no, there are blocks on the rear axle of the 250, and 350, under the leafs.
the 350 has a 2" taller block than the 250....a cheap, yet factory way to raise the rear of your truck is to add the f350 parts.

now, on the 250 the front sits about ~ 2" lower than the rear already, so ifd you add a 4" lift to the front, and the f350 blocks... in theory your truck will sit level, and clear 35" tires.

this is for 4x4 trucks btw

my computer shows the front leaves run 48 bux each, this seems way too low....can you confirm the list price from ford?
i will be doing an add a leaf, and x springs in about a year or so.....once i wanna go with 36's or 37's. i wish you people would have spoke up earlier about having this stuff for sale!
guess i should have asked eh???

also, part number update!
i just recieved the parts, and here are the corrected numbers.

F81Z-5598-FA
F81Z-5598-GA

AND THE U-BOLTS-ALL FOUR IN ONE BOX:
N803770-S436

ill edit my first post also.

sbrennan007,

I may be interested in the whole package but have a few questions.

How much higher do the x springs run over the others( y springs I guess )?

How much total lift would the x spring and the 1" add a leaf give you?

Would the combo of all of this level the truck out ?

What size tire could you run with all of this installed ?

Why didn't you use it ?

Thanks
