Best tire?

There are so many different tires out there its rediculous. I was just wondering what is the best all around tire. i want one that looks mean but has great function. also i dont want it to wear out in no time due to daily driving on road. every truck i see in my town has the bfg mudterrains. i have the pro comp muds and they seem to do alright and have lasted me over 2 years. just wondering what tires you guys prefer.

never mind pro. he's been obsessed with them since 'the accident'.

first of all, what kind of truck do you have, what is your rim size, and what do you want to spend?

I think for that, any "street" mud terrain is good. I have had 2 sets of bfgs, but pro comps, generals, maxxis buckshots, dunlops, wild countrys, etc. are good. I like my swamper ssrs but they aren't the most practical choice for daily driver. I am looking at the dunlops for my Tacoma because they are the cheapest I have found. Ted

BFG All-terrains are better than goodyear MT/Rs for road driving, mud and sand. MT/Rs are better on rocks.

What?
I have BFG AT's and they blow in mud-anything has to be better than these. No such thing as cleaning out treads with the ATs...

Guaranteed stuck-every time!

MTR's are not mud tires....get them only if you like rocks and nothing else. The "M" does not stand for mud. MTR=Maximum Traction Radial.

Maxxis Buckshots and if they ain't big enough, Creapy Crawlers. I haven't found crap that can stand up to lemon thorns in the sidewalls . . .

How 'bout those Dunlop Mud Rovers? I've heard they will outperform BFG Mud Terrains. They got purty wide lugs and even wider voids. Only about 102/per at tirerack for 33x12.50s. Anybody tried those?
