I've had my eye on those Dunlop Mud Rovers for a while now. $111 bucks for 35x12.5x15 is cheap enough i'm gonna buy a set soon and try them out. Only problem is the 60 bucks shipping they are gonna charge me to get them here, I wonder if I can find a tire shop localy that sells them that cheap and no shipping. Maybe a couple more weeks and my truck will be about done and i'll have these tires to try out. I still would like to hear of someone that had experience with them though.

I got some chaparral steel wall whatevers. Bout two weeks ago i ran through a field rampant with gotcha plants (you know, the ones with the 2 inch briars..). Found a few broken off in the rubber, and they arent popped or nothing. Pretty good tire i must admit

nope. 'Sides, the "best" tire is dictated by how you need to use it.

ive seen those dunlops in action. its impressive at the cleaning power and digging power such a cheap tires has. i havent looked at sizes, but for the 35, i know where i can get some with all the bells and whistles mounted for 109. thats damn good by any means.

Here are some of my picks...
Best mud tire-bogger
Best general off-road tire-pretty much anything in the TSL family
Best "need something on a daily commuter that is good on wet pavement, snow, and casual rides off the beaten path"-Bridgestone Dueler Revo.

I have the PJ's you mentioned, and you could look at them as being awesome, or sucky for the same reason- they arent the best at anything, but they are decent at everything. You really wont find them at the top of any category. Off road, the guys with the Super Swampers will have ya, and on pavement any oem type A/T will be quieter.
But, you can go where those A/T's cant, and wont have to deal with the NOISE and flatspotting of the SS's.

I also know a place where you can get 33x12.50's for like $65.

I guess in all reality, Im a moron for even posting all this when I could have just said "the PJ's are a decent tire, but I second what PRO said."
