90 302 EFI Spark Plug Gap
Looking for information on the correct spark plug gap. Just picked up a set of standard Motorcraft plugs (450) and I have a factory ignition system. The Chilton book says it shoud be .044, the parts guy said it should be a .054 and the sticker is missing from under the hood. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks Wiz. I was thinking of installing Ford Racing 9mm ignition wires and a Ford Racing cap and rotor kit. Are these better or worse than any other brand of aftermarket ignition tune up parts? Thanks for the feedback.

In my experience Haynes and Chiltons are too often WRONG. My under hood sticker calls for .052-.056. The parts guy is correct in this case.
Ford Racing wires, cap and rotor are excellent parts for the money.
