throttle body spacers

throttle body spacers
i just installed a helix throttle body spacer,now my truck stalls.so i reset the computer still stalls,when will the computer relearn air fuel mix?

should i disconect the battery and throttle position sensor, and try again

try disconnecting the battery for 10 to 15 minutes, then once the battery is reconnected, start the engine and let it sit and idle for 5 to 10 minutes. this should reset the idle control and makes it run a lot better. it doesnt hurt to clean the battery posts and cable connections while battery is disconnected incase a good electrical connection wasnt being established.
this worked for me and maybe it will help you too.

other performance parts
i installed a k&n fipk and a perma cool electric fan to replace stock fan i got more hrs power and better on fuel

Hey greenterror, you probably will want to remove the spacer, many people have had issues with these products, even a loss of HP on a dyno. They dont gain you anything and your not the first to have "issues"...

Ah, the "If I spend money, it will go faster!" myth.
Nope, nope, nope. Real power gains come from inside an internal combustion engine. Like is said, "Speed costs money, how fast do you want to spend???"
Up the compression (higher comp pistons), bigger valves, better cam.....we can go on and on with real power adders some other time.
