Another recall

I just received another recall notice for my 99 Super Duty (Built Oct.1998). It includes all 250 and 350 models with the short box that were built from Job #1 1999 (which means from the first one ever built in 1998) through June 4, 1999. Apparently, these vehicles fail to conform to the FMVSS 301 fuel system intergity test. The recall calls for the installation of tank retaining cables and/or the replacement of the fuel tank locater bracket

Got mine today and I have an '08. Does that mean that every SD for that last 10 years is being recalled?

Neil....I notice you list your truck as a 2000 in your sig, but you recieved the letter for the 99's. What is your build date on your truck? Mine is 10/99 and it's classified as a 2000. Just wondering if your build date is earlier then mine being a 2000, I haven't recieved any letter.....
