excessive play in the wheel
my 08 F250 has been in the shop for two days. the play in the steering wheel is from 10-2 I have to constantly play the wheel to keep going stright. Ford says nothing is wrong. ANyone able to give me any ideas?

Sounds like the gear box needs a little tightening. On older boxes, there is a screw on top that you can tighten a little at a time. That may sure up the wheel a bit. Is it isolated to the box or could it be something in the alignment or rag joints?

its a new truck, should not be your problem to fix or adjust. get a 2nd opinion, go to another dealer. I had to on my truck. local dealer was a waste of time. other dealer was awsome and got the job done.
