Avatar will not upload from PC

.jpg image that is small enough will not upload - any suggestions?

convert it to a gif...

Could not find *.GIF as a save option - any other ideas?

what program are you using? look for a save as option...

Well, I found a program that would save it as a GIF, but the upload still doesn't go...Will keep tryin'.

This is the message I get - 60 x 55 pixel GIF file, 4 kb size.
