Front suspension making slaping noise
99 F-350 4x4 crew cab LWB DRW
front suspension making slaping, banking or knocking noise. Has any one had this noise, sounds
like a warped rotor or a tire out of round but when you push down on front end you can fell the
front spring banging

Front suspension making slaping noise
My 99' F350,SD, super cab, CxC 4x4 clunks and bangs under cab and in front end , have'nt found it yet, going to the dealer today for other stuff and that, let me know if you find out what it is, I'll post a new ad with my results, ..Mark

Front suspension making slaping noise
Got my truck back 11/5/99, was at dealer for, Driver side power window problem, rear spring sqeak,tires out of balance,clunks and bangs under cab,when truck is loaded, it shudder's when you take off up to about 15 MPH,TSB on it has to do with rear end driveshaft angle and carrier bearing ( will go back for that).This truck weighs 5 ton without a loud in the dump body, only gets 11 to 13 MPG, almost 9,000 miles and it has the PSD.
Anyway the tech seemed to find the clunks it was the swaybar( driverside drag link, he replaced it, and spent time on cab mounts also),
The rest of the probs they seem to have fixed them also, The dealer is Columbia Ford In CT.
