Headers, exhaust, and a lift kit...

In the next several weeks I plan to install headers all the way back to a new muffler. I want a 3" body lift as well. Are there any pros and cons to doing a lift before I do the exhaust work or should I lift it after? I am not lifting it myself, but I will be doing the exhuast work. Any comments? Mine is a 93 5.0L. Thanks.

If anything do the lift first, then you will have no problems for the new pipes. I plan too do a 3" body too mine, it's nice too have a little more room between the chassis and body for the pipes.
