ok so i have a 64 ford f250 it has a 292 and a 4 speed man trans, my question is i have never messed with a carb before and i was wondering how to identifie and adjust my carb i dont know how to tell if its a fourbarrel or a 2barrel i thought it was 2 barrel then a friend said that it is 4 barrel , so now im not sure it is a holley carb , i dont know where to find some kind of id number on it so if someone could tell me where to look i would be grateful and if someone could tell me how to adjust it that would be cool to thanks again for all the help
A factory carb should have a tag under one of the top plate bolts on the front of the carb.
A Holley will have numbers stamped into the front righthand side of the choke horn of the carb.
