I have heard that the frame rivets on a truck like mine start to get loose. I have some really strange noise cominf from under the drivers side floorboard, or so it seems. What should i be looking for?

Reason: Simplifing title
It could be radius arm bushings making the noise, if they look bad replace them.
Usually replacing them means replacing the radius arm bracket rivets anyway.
If the bushing look OK, look at the radius arm brackets. the rivets can easily be replaced with grade-8 bolts (actually grade 5 bolts would be stronger then the factory rivets but use grade-8 stuff)
lightly tap the rivets using a hammer and punch from both the outside and inside of the frame. if any rivet moves replace them all. they can easily be drilled or ground out.
I'd also look at the cab mounts and look at the parking brake cable and hardware. A really loose parking brake cable can make some wierd and scary noises as it bounces around under the truck.
