Mods for first 6.0s

Is anyone runnin any mods like the edge or predator on the older 6.0s with c94 injectors? If not do you think it would be a good idea, or an accident waiting to happen?

It depends on what mods you would run, there are many with 94's running mods.
First one IMO guages...........then more HP/TQ.......

I am running the Predator. I have a 3/27/03 engine build with c94 injectors. I haven't had the Predator installed that long. Soon as you start it up, it is smoother. First time you hit the pedal without hotrodding, you feel the difference. It feels and runs better than it did pre Oct flash. I restored the factory program once just to know I could do it. It was downright sluggish compared to the Performance/Economy tune. I'll post it if I lose injector(s).

Tried 100 HP yet?

Have you tried it on 100HP setting yet?

Nope, and I won't until I mod the exhaust and add a pyro gauge. I stepped on it once in the 65 mode coming away from a traffic signal I went from zero to 45 before I realized it. I can't imagine what it would do with the 100 setting.

If you take time to read all the advice and notes even in the program loading process and the manual, Diablo Sports highly recommends exhaust mods and gauges although you can run it stock in the lower and midrange programs. For the 100 the only recommend exhaust and gauge mods.

I will now proceed to stir it up with mention that Diablo Sports recommends the temp probe be put in post turbo. It's on their site.

I got a 3.5 to 4" downpiped turbo back and the predator and it gets thru to third gear before you can BLINK
Well, maybe not that fast... but I had the Ex for about 10 months or so before I got the Predator and so I KNEW how it reacted to WOT...
The +100 - just like +100 in anything is amazing !

My mistake

sbv45, I thought you might have had the gauges and exhaust, if I bought a predator I am definitely going to do those first.

Nope. Bone stock. A bigger downpipe is next. Then I'll tap it and put in a pyro gauge for when I am towing. Summers in Texas are brutal. So I want to watch the heat when pulling my boat to the coast.

Thought I saw a downpipe on Motorhaven. I know there are gauges there as well. So far Motorhaven has been great. I accidentally ordered the wrong thing went I went to order the Predator. They were great on changing the order, gave me the best price and I still had it the next day.
