That totally sounds like a Windshield leak..... too bad you didn't live in Massachusetts.. you could have ummm.... have "accidentilly" broken your windshield and gotten it replaced under your insurance for ah.. well.. FREE!
Well... you may not need a new windshield, but all windshield places ensure that your new one won't leak....
As far as being a bonus.. not really.. it is included in your comprehensive insurance... and I have only done it once and I have paid over $15,000 in insurance over 15 years.. and no accidents mind you.. so guess what? I have no problems letting the insurance company use my money to buy me a new windshield... ya know?
The dreaded crack problem happens at the rear of the rain gutter, above the top/rear corner of the door. You'll see a wrinkle and sometimes a hole. If you look at other Bronco's, you'll see it's pretty common.
That's the answer I was looking for.
Don"t see it on my truck yet .Do you guys think it's from too much body flex at that point?
thanks for all the input
Yep, it's stress cracks from body flex. My drivers side has it bad, but the other side doesn't show a problem. My rig had it when I bought it, and I suspect it was 4x pretty hard at some point in it's life, but I don't know if that's got much to do with it. I've seen some pretty clean looking Broncos with the problem.
