Question Distributor "?"

I have an 86 302 non H.O. in a bronco that I am about to change from efi to carb. I need to know what year distributor to get to replace the TFI unit, and does it need steel or cast gear?
Thanks
Jason

Don't hold me to this, but I was looking into this recently, and all I could find out was that steel gears are for engines with roller cams/lifters and cast iron is for flat lifter engines. No idea about the year...
