when u divide by 60, the litres comes out to be 1 point higher than its suppose to, for example when you divide 390 by 60 it comes out to be 6.5L but a 390 is a 6.4L

It's a rough conversion, actual number is 61.something if I remember right. It gives you an idea but no, it's not precise. It's just easier than trying to divide or multiply by some weird decimal.

Actually, 61 is closer than you think. A Cummins L10 is a 10 liter engine. Duh. But on it's CPL, it shows displacement as 10 liters, AND 610 cubic inches.
Actual number is 60.7ci per liter. 60 or 61 works for quick guess.
Nothing is listed anymore by ci to bad
1 i have a 6.8L
2 I HAVE A FOUR HUNDRED THIRTEEN CUBIC INCH V10 OF GROUND POUNDING POWER OUT THE.......
second one sounds better

According to my TI-86 calculator which has conversions built in
1 L = 61.0237440947 CI
So to find CI from L:
multiply the Liters by 61.023.....(however exact you want to be)
And to find L from CI:
Divide CI by 61.023.....(however exact you want to be)
1 L = 61.0237440947 CI
So to find CI from L:
multiply the Liters by 61.023.....(however exact you want to be)
And to find L from CI:
Divide CI by 61.023.....(however exact you want to be)
