spring brain teaser!

I’m trying to help someone out they have a 94 F-150 with the inline 6. All winter he had no problems but once it hits mid 60’s outside his check engine light comes on when he slows down (like a stop sign or light). As soon as he takes off the lights gone again. I’m kind of puzzled. It started last fall but then went away thru the winter and now… it’s baaaaackk..

Had the same problem with a 92 and it turned out to be EGR related. Try to post the codes, if the engine light comes on there will be codes generated.
