Differential Whine
Differential Whine
I have a 99 F-450 that has a whine on acceration and a little whine when on coast. Ring and pinion have been replaced twice in 16K miles. Now the dealer is saying that it is normal with trucks.
I have had every excuse that you can think of, the
mechanic said all trucks do that, also it is the driveline causing the noise. Also claim that the all steel bed is causing whine to sound louder.
I was raised on a farm, but I didn't just get off the turnip truck, I hope.
Does anyone else have this problem?
