Question power steering fluid change

I want to replace the power steering fluid in my '02 with fresh fluid. Is there a procedure for this to remove all the fluid? Thanks.

You can suck the fluid from the P/S reservoir with a syringe, refill with fresh fluid, run it (working the steering side to side and pressing the brake), then repeat the process. There isn't that much fluid in the steering box or hydraboost, so flushing it will remove the majority of the old fluid.

In an 02 I wouldn't worry about a complete flush, but when I wanted to on an old truck what I did was to empty the reservoir, and disconnect both hoses from the pump. I then turned the engine with the starter until all the oil was out of the pump. Then I hooked shop air into the high pressure hose and directed the low pressure into the drain pan, and turned the wheel back and forth to empty the steering gear. Then refill and bleed the gear again by turning it back and forth with oil and the engine running. Probably a waste of time for you though, I just suck out what is in the reservoir now and refill yearly or so.
