Ok, more bad news....

Jon (StlthF1) is in the hospital, I dont know all the details, but his wife said he will have exploratory surgery tomorrow, maybe appendix, diverticulitious, they will also look at his liver.

So send some prayers his way!!

When will the rain end?

Mitch,
I'm glad he's home now. I know this is very hard on you. As I've said before if you need anything just give me a call. I'll do anything I can.

Sorry to hear about your buddy. That must have been a huge shock to you.Take care buddy. I know it's hard.

I'm out now guys. Things are okay. I will end up having colon surgery in the coming weeks to a month. It's a serious surgery but they tell me its no big deal. I just have to lay low for a while and wait for all the tests. Thanks for the prayers.

Jon

We had Dwight's funeral yesterday, it was a lot harder than I expected, I brought along most of the team he coached last year and my sons idea of having all the kids attend in full baseball uniform was a very fitting tribute, there wasnt a dry eye in the place.

My Dad did make it to my sons Baseball game for a little bit, he ended up staying for about 30 minutes, but had to go since he was feeling bad. My sons team kicked butt!! swept a doubleheader! and believe it or not, my son was the leadoff batter, he hit a frozen rope down 3rd baseline that went all the way to the fence, if he was faster it would have been a triple, but it was a standup double, then stole third, then scored on a single. so Grandpaw was excited to get to see that he scored the first run. He also pitched two innings and got 4 K's (he says 5..lol) and he looked impressive!

As a side note, I will be taking over head coaching responsibilities for the 9/10 yr old team Dwight and I were teaming up to coach, I know Dwight would have wanted the team to go on, and I feel that that is the least I can do at this point.

Jon, get well buddy! were all pulling for you!!!! and if you need anything, you know my number.

Thanks to everyone else for the kind words and support.
