Header woes
I have a `72 351c in my `55 F250, years ago when I first put this motor in I bought some headers, they work but I had to make a 1/2" spacer to clear the starter, also the collector is so low that the muffler shop had to offset the exhaust pipes 15" to get them back up close to the frame. Anybody know of anyone that makes headers without going thru all this?

Have you looked into the Sanderson FC3 headers? http://www.sandersonheaders.com/
I actually use these in my 66 Bronco with a 351C. They were designed for 53-56 F100s. Good luck.

Thanks a bunch 1956f100 for the info, great site and this one is too! Since I found this site I feel rejuvenated, can`t walk by my truck without doin somethin. Thanks again!
