Poor Acceleration After Warmup
I've got a nagging problem. After the truck warms up, if I shut it off for a while and get back in it has very, very poor acceleration. If I drive it another 5 - 10 miles it gets a bit better, but acceleration is always best right after a cold start. It is always worst right after a 10 - 15 minute shut down period.
I've replaced the IAT, EOT, fuel filter, oil filter and the Oil (twice - Rotella and Motorcraft). I've also added Fleetrite defoamer. No change. There are lots of little bubbles in the oil after running the engine, but certainly not "foam." The turbo works property and the EBPV is unplugged. No exhaust restrictions. There are no engine codes.
Any idea what would cause poor acceleration after warmup but wouldn't set a code? HPOP? ICP? IPR?
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
