71 here right now with a nice, nice cool breeze blowing. Just drove back from class doin' bout fifty with all the windows down in my bronco. Very nice weather right now - especially before it gets to be a furnace outside. -BBB

50 degrees here.

A couple inches of snow on the ground

Oh but wait, we are getting a massive thunderstorm right now with a great light show & big *** hail. Perhaps that will break the snow up & pound the frost out of the ground.

I'm as happy as can be!

I just started to fab up a headache rack for the truck. woulda been done if i didn't run out of tube steel....

Also did a lot of maintenance on the truck. It's so much nicer to work in decent weather. The Winter didn't really stop me from getting work done, but boy did it slow me down...

You are making me homesick. You wanna switch and come on down here to the wounderful Fort Polk and enjoy the great spring to fall 100% humidity and ever lasting rain filled winter? Cant offer much view though. Pine trees as far as you can see in this flatland hole.
I was stationed at Carson 95-00 in the Emerald City and Lived in an apartment complex on 21st St with the mountains visable from my living room window.
In six years me and the family plan on retiring out there. I miss it.. Best tour Ive had in 14 years. Enjoy it while you are still there.
Cant beat the unpredictable weather, great views and plenty to do and all the outdoor activity you could ever dream of.
