2000 F250SD V-10, 4x4 . First I had my driver's side hub replaced, auto hubs were not disengaging making a clunking noise when turning hard to right or left. Still does clunk now and then. I have to go out and play with the Lock/auto hubs to make sure it's disengaged. But I have a bad squeak in the same area of the truck. Going over only slightly bumpy roads it sounds like a worn out box spring. The mechanic tried to tell me it was a plastic bushing and that he'd replace it when he does the hub. He also said he guaranteed the noise would come back. I think he's full of sh--. I went on th TSB board and I kindof think it may be to do with the front spring/coil. Did anyone else have this problem.
I have the same problem with my 99 f-350 srw 4x4 SC LWB. I ordered it 9/17/98 and received it 12/18/98. I now have 12,500 miles on it and I'm taking it in for the 3rd on this issues next week. So far they did the anti-squeak spring spacers and that worked for a while, then they replaced my sway bar bushings and that worked for a few days, and I don't know what they are going to try next. That's why I'm on the forum so I can give them ideas and maybe find the solution.
One forum respondent said he had seen a TSB for crew cab trucks making a popping sound because of the cab mounts.
Some TSB's that I've found so far are the following:

I'm trying to give them as much as I can so I can get this fixed and start enjoying my truck again rather than being pissed off everytime it makes those noises. I'm leaving it with them for 4 days while I'm out of town so they should be able to do some thorough trouble shooting.
