I think I have MSN 6.0 and Windows XP. I need to know how to clear the "Catche" so every time I go back to a main menue on FTE so I dont have to refresh each time. Im not that computer smart
Well its not the icon with the E icon but its the one with the buterfly icon. What is odd is if Im not logged in the forms I frequent (mostly the 73-79 form) its up to date but if I am logged in its almost a week out of date. And I have to refresh the page each time I click out of a thread.
To delete your "cookies" go to the top of the MSN page and click on "Tools". Click on "Internet Options", and click "Delete Cookies". I also routinely clear "Temporary Internet Files" by clicking "Internet Options" again, under "Temporary Internet Files" click "Settings", click "View Files" and start deleting all the ones you don't want. If you want to get rid of all, go up to the tool bar and click "Edit", then click "Select All", when they all light up blue, hit "delete" on your keyboard and follow the prompts. I think if you're sure you want to get rid of all cookies and files then you can go to "Temporary Internet Files" under "Internet Options" after clicking on "Tools" up in the toolbar at the top of the MSN page and click on "Delete Cookies" then click "Delete Files" after following all the prompts. This allows you to delete the files without viewing them.
