Vibration
If anyone is having a vibration in your Excursion that gets louder the faster as you go, I may have a solution. I have had a vibration at different speeds from 50 and up. At 85 it is very loud. My truck is under warranty and was in the shop multiple times. I won't go into everything except that the final fix was simple. The Pinion angle was off between the rear end and the drive shaft. The angle was off 3mm. The mechanic inserted a shim to lign up the drive shaft and rear end. This fixed the problem. Only took about 6 months of pain to figure it out.
