Well, I survived the weekend, couple more gray hairs.

The tailpipe comes out the side now, so it looks like an easy enough adaptation if I were to switch. The muffler that's on there now is shedding its protective wrap and is hanging down. I'll either have to take the skin off or replace it. Last time I had it running it sounded as though the muffler was fairly quiet.

Guys are talking about a '64 Galaxie in the General Automotive section above. I don't know if you ever go in there. They're mostly talking about gas mileage so far, but still interesting. Maybe we should post our experiences in there about what babe magnets those things are and liven it up a bit. HAHA

Other than that, anything new with ol Bessie? I looked at Doug this weekend, nothing else. Shop needs a good cleaning again. It seems like summer is a harder to find time to work on the truck with so much more going on and so many weekends with plans. I guess I'll just not force anything and keep it an enjoyable experience when I can afford some time to tinker. I should be happy there are other things in my life that are important too.

Hey, how's Mrs. Preggers? Must be getting close.

We're going down to the St. Croix River for the 4th of July. I enjoy my time on the river road.

Hope you and yours have a happy 4th. Talk to you later about some more questions about Doug.

Just wanted to say congrats innecity4wheelin from another Gregory.
I know it's a little late and you're probably suffering from sleep deprivation about now.
Enjoy anyway

hey thanks, he is only about 10 days old right now, but he has the best temperment, not a reall fusser yet, just looks around a lot and tells mamma when he needs to be fed. mamma has the milk on the warmer so to speak so i dont have to get up really since i have to work n such. maybe a little old school i guess, but we each do our part, i am more back up...lol.. i clean n do relief duty during the day after i get home.
about time someone else got in on the bull n b/s'n session, thread turned by ford or general conversation...haha...lol.. 1000+ views of two guys with common ground taking up 4 pages ...lol, kinda funny huh billsco, no wonder the wife is raggin on me from time to time about bein a putz and get back into the garage and get her(so she thinks) truck running.....lol
got two weeks vacation, got the brake lines and exhaust and cam/timing chain yet, some wiring, 79ford radiator n front sheetmetal on my list to get it driving if i can get a day to myself. thats about it til driveshaft and swaybar and running board time. the coilovers and axle and front rotors are on, n its up on its wheels, its got a good stance but a bit soft on the passenger side, that swaybar should fix that, i am going to make one. i bet 2-4 good days and i could have it running, stopping and bolted together.
