Hello SD pal,
If your going to just go 2" then super lift is the best. I have a 2000, F250, crew cab, 4x4, V10.
Typically the crew cabs are about 1" higher in the front to start with. After a lot of research I put the super lift 2" kit on the front and then went with 1" blocks in the rear to get the truck to sit level. The kit was not too hard if you know the little tricks to it which I know now, with the telephone help of the 4X4 shop who sold it to me. I could do it easy now. Just make sure you get the track bar relocator with whichever one you go with. Some people say that you don't need one with only a 2" lift, but what it does is puts added tention on your front end and pulls the axle to one side which also makes the ride stiffer as a result. I also put on 16.5 weld wheels with 35" tires which clears fine. Although if i had to do it again I would probably go with 3" in the front jusdt as far as looks go. But I'm happy with it. If you need any pointers let me know. Good luck. RS
Thanks for info, My '99 super cab sits lower in front than rear. I' d like to level the truck. I looked at a couple 2000 models at dealer, front end looks to be designed differntly than on the 99s. I also noticed they seem to sit higher in front than my 99. I don't care for the way mine seems to sit with front end going toward pavement.
Maybe you can help me out regarding the blocks. What is the exact size of the one you replaced? Mine are 2 5/8". I'm looking for a bit more. And if you could tell me where you got the 1" blocks? From Ford?
Thanks,
Rob
