Changing intake manifolds

I put a 2000 4.6 in my 98 F-150. Interchange manual said I could use my old manifold but the ports dont look the same. I read a recent thread that said someone put on PI heads and had to have work done on the intake manifold. I would like to use the one that came with the 2000 motor but the sensors are in different spots and the 2000 has one less sensor. For instance in one spot there is a pipe sticking up where a sensor is on the other. Can I modify the newer manifold to work? All info greatly appreciated. Jordan

I am pretty sure that you have to use the newer intake with the PI heads to seal the ports. Can you get the underhood harness from a 99-up truck? This would eliminate having to slice the wiring.

will the new wiring harness work with the 98 computer or will I need the computer also? Will I have to use COP's or will I still be able to use dual coil packs?
