Just curious on the 89, I use to have an 89 with 302 and an AOD, isn't that tranny an AOD instead of C6?
The T-Case might bolt up correctly. But again Just curious as to why? From what I have read and heard the Automatic, push button T-Case, has been somewhat unreliable. With the manual shifter of T-Case at least one would definately know when and what gear the T-case is ingaged.
If you do decide to go with that swap, you will also need to take all the switches and wiring for it and put it into the 94.
No my bronco is a parts truck his T-case is toast, (the manual) he needs a new one and does ot want to spend the 900 bucks for a new one, or the 350 the junk yeard wants.....that is why I am asking....and no my 89 has a C-6 on it according to both the code on the door and the number of bolts on the pan. and the lack of overdrive......well it says on the gear indicator that it has an overdrive, but it is only 3 gears.
Well, you would have too swap out the madual, buttons, wiring harnesses, and anything else I may be missing. anyway, I will get messy and it will take days too figure it out.
